Student Scholarships

Ten conference scholarships to full time students are on offer

To enhance students’ awareness of geosynthetics, and to encourage student participation in the conference, the organising committee has decided to offer 10 student scholarships. These scholarships will give the students access to all conference sessions (including social and networking events), plus a small travel subsidy.

The successful students will be selected for the award after applying for consideration and having their abstract selected for presentation at the conference. Both undergraduate and postgraduate students are eligible to apply.

Application is easy, submit your details and abstract via the portal. These will be reviewed by the technical committee and successful students will be notified in June 2024.

The scholarships are:

Open to full time students under 36 years.
Successful recipients will receive a two-day registration to attend the conference, including attendance at two social functions and one masterclass.
Travel and accommodation support of AUD$250 if travelling from interstate, or AUD$100 if based in Melbourne.
