Below is all the information you’ll need on how to easily travel to the Crown Conference Centre.
Getting to the Crown Conference Centre by car
If you’re being dropped off at the Conference Centre, Whiteman Street entrance is the closest entrance. Click here to view the map.
Prefer to park onsite? Complimentary parking is available at Crown’s multi-level car park Sunday to Thursday only and is subject to availability. Delegates will need to present the original ticket obtained on entry into the multi level car park to staff located at the cloak room for validation.
Please note complimentary parking is not available for the basement car park should delegates choose to park there.
Getting to the Crown Conference Centre by train
The closest station is Southern Cross. Once you exit the station, you can catch the 96, 109 or 12 tram routes and arrive at the Crown Conference Centre in just a few stops. For train timetables or further trip planning, use Public Transport Victoria’s Journey Planner.
Getting to the Crown Conference Centre by tram
Tram routes 96, 109 and 12 (Stop 124A Casino/MCEC) will all take you to our Clarendon Street entrance. From there, it’s just a 5 minute walk up Clarendon Street until you reach Crown Conference Centre. For tram timetables or further trip planning, use Public Transport Victoria’s Journey Planner.
Free Tram Zone
Travel on trams in Melbourne’s city centre is free. View a map of the Free Tram Zone on the PTV website. Tram stops in the Free Tram Zone are clearly marked. If you start or finish a journey outside the Free Tram Zone, a valid myki card is still required.
Getting to the Crown Conference Centre by bus
From Monday to Friday, bus route 237 goes via Southern Cross Station to Lorimer Street, which is roughly a five-minute walk to MCEC. For bus timetables or further trip planning, use Public Transport Victoria’s Journey Planner.
Getting to the Crown Conference Centre by taxi or Uber
If you’re heading to the Crown Conference Centre, ask your taxi or Uber driver to drop you off at Crown Conference Centre’s Clarendon Whiteman Street as that is the closest entrance.
Getting to the Crown Conference Centre from Tullamarine Airport
When you arrive from Melbourne Airport (also known as Tullamarine Airport), you have three options. You can catch a taxi from outside your terminal or request an Uber by following the signs outside your terminal to the pick up zones.
